[Art] ACEO # 15-18 (Lamento, Katekyou Hitman Reborn)

I know it's very boring, but again some ACEOs. I can't seem to draw something other....

The BL Game "Lamento" is so great... I love the artwork, I love the Seiyuu and the beautiful characters. o(≥Д≤)o
Both cards are for Jureko. The first is from Kil and Ul. The second is of Razel... yeah, I totally fucked him up. Sorry.

I'm so addicted to Katekyou Hitman Reborn since some time and I wanted to draw so badly some fanart... well, acctually I hope to do someday a doujinshi to this great manga/anime.

Philip - the sparrow

Yeah, I didn't update this journal for some time. (¬_¬)
Sorry. I was very lazy and hadn't the time.
....
It's already some time ago but I played mother for a smal bird (a sparrow) for five days.

Well, first I must tell I work in the zoo in the shop and sell merchandise and toys. ^^;
One day a costomer brought this littly guy to me with a small wound on the head... he fell out of the nest and it's sibling was already dead.
(There are also a lot of cats in the zoo because of the mice etc. ... so it wasn't save to leave him there)
So I took the small bird home because nobody couldn't / wouldn't help me from the zookeeper.
It was the first time I took care of a wild animal (I only own two budgerigars). But the guy in the pet shop helped me and told me what I need to feed him... and I also searched the Inet. ^-^
So it began...
I had to wake up before 6 am... this was hard but Philip wouldn't let me sleep longer and kept me busy until 10 pm.
Nevertheless I spoiled the little guy rotten...
This was only possible because I had some days off of work.
Then the saleswoman in an other pet shop did know a woman who takes care of wild birds and I could leave him in her experienced care.

It wasn't easy but I had to separate from Philip. -.-
If I had kept him longer I wouldn't be able to let him go.

I took this video the last day.
When Philip was found he hadn't that many feathers... he did grow so much. ^-^

I'm absolutely in love with the anime and the manga "Nabari no Ou" (Yuhki Kamatani). I had to do a small fanart of my favorite pairing Yoite and Miharu. Sorry, Miharu sadly doesn't look like Miharu at all.

Although my friend Aya and I are living in the same city, we never managed to do a small “Doll MeetUp” with our dolls. But in February I finally managed to take two of my dolls with me when I stayed overnight at her house.

It was so much fun. We took photos outside (it was a bit cold) and in her room in the evening.
In the end we took both circa 200 photos. *lol*

It’s not a very good shoot of our girls but I like the reflection in the pond (with the Kois).

Aya and I are both born in March so we celebrated our birthdays this year together at her house and the next morning it started to snow so much (I waited for this chance for a long time) but I didn’t took a doll with me. -.-
So I begged for her permission to use her Noel and her camera. I was so happy that I was outside only in a t-shirt… my friends watched me from the inside. *rofl*

Asato from Lamento (Nitro+ CHiRAL) as Nataku-chans B-Day gift. It was a bit difficult to give this card away because I'm also a very big fan of the BL Game Lamento but I know she will handle the card careful. Well, I didn't asked her which character she like the most from the game. ^.^

It’s been some time since I updated my journal. ^-^
I’m still into those ACEO or KaKAO (in German). It’s fun to draw such small art cards with a size of 3.5 x 2.5 inches (8.9 x 6.4 cm).

This ‘Xmas ACEO’ is L from the Manga/Anime Death Note (Takeshi Obata) and was a gift for Aya... I really messed this one up because after I fixed the card with spray some lines blurred.*cries*
Sadly I hadn’t the time to draw a new card for her... I hope she wasn’t too disappointed of the gift.

This also was a Xmas gift card for Yuuzuki-chan... she is a fan of Draco Malfoy from the Harry Potter Books (J.K. Rowling). Well, I wanted the card to have a pale/light look.

Well, I actually planed for the bookfair 2008 to give away for free one ACEO at Saturday and Sunday (the only condition was you needed to ask for it because I didn’t put it on the table... I announced it in my journals at Animexx and Y!G) but nobody asked... so I sold this one at Sunday. I didn’t consider that somebody would buy it but a woman bought it (but I guess she didn’t know about KaKAOs). ^-^;

[Art & Photos] Bookfair 2008 & Anthology Vol. 3

Our Team (consisting of 4 amateur artists) published again a small book/Doujinshi for the bookfair (“Leipziger Buchmesse”) in Germany which was from 2008-03-13 to 2008-03-16. We presented for the first time the third volume of “Anthology” and sold it from Friday to Sunday.

This was our table(s) Friday at the bookfair (at the doujinshi market).

Yeah, I also fell for those small art cards with the big effect. ^.~

I wanted to draw an ACEO (or KaKAO how it’s called in German) since some time already because it seems like fun to create such small artworks… well, IT IS FUN. -^0^-

Again I used watercolors, (colour) crayons, copics, gel pens, ...

My first ACEO is of my original character Celeste and was the Christmas gift for Nataku-lein, a very dear friend.

Sorry, I couldn’t draw Isaac’s tattoo exact because the card was too small for that.

The next 'Xmas ACEO' is Edward from the Anime/Manga Fullmatal Alchemist and was done for . I'm not so sure she still likes FMA. ^^;

Because I’m such a big fan of tasha_neko -san’s Snarry BJDs (and also her other gorgeous boys), I’d drawn this picture for a small Christmas card. I hope the letter did reach her (I’m not so sure I did write the address right). -.-
I used (as always) watercolours, (colour) crayons, copics and what I had at hand.

I also did something for the Snarry Holidays (on IJ), but I’ll not post this entry here because I’m too ashamed of the outcome (I hadn’t enough time to finish it like I planed or hoped).
But you will find it very easily if you look through the posts.

Yeah, a lot of my pictures are looking like this... unfinished. It's very frustrating but I’m too impatient and lazy to wait before I finished something and shortly I start a new idea.
I still have the hope that I finish all some day. ^^;;;

Jack Sparrow... eh... Captain Jack Sparrow.

Tia Dalma is such a cool Character and very sexy... more than Elisabeth.
The end of the 3rd movie was a bit disappointing.

Well, I didn’t plan to write something about my thoughts concerning all the recent happenings here at LJ and the handlings of the users or the fandom ‘Harry Potter’ (where I’m a big fan of)... because a lot of people where already expressing my worries/thoughts better than I would be able in my poor English.
I can only say how sad I am how everything seams to turn out at the moment and that fans are seen as pedophiles for their writings or their fanarts.
[I’m not sure if other fandoms having also these problems because the same could be said for Anime/Manga for example].
I’m not an active member but I used LJ to read fan fiction and to look for the works of artists I adore (and also for smut) for a long time and therefore I didn’t need a journal… I only recently began to use LJ for myself (one reason was also that entries where f-locked).
I also want to express my gratitude to femmequixotic who is doing such an awesome job for the pornish_pixies community (and also for the fandom) and she handles everything in a very mature way. I understand that users are angry but I don’t think it’s clever to simply rant to the people of LJ/6A in an impolite manner... this way you won’t get your answers.
...
The time will bring what will happen in the future but as it seams now the fans will move to other servers like Greatest Journal and I also have now an account at GJ and at Insane Journal (under the username saiyaku) to keep an eye on the communities. But my entries will be all the same at the moment.
I hope LJ/6A will start to react to all the happenings, answer the question of the worried users and begin to clearly stating their TOS or more members will leave (or stop using a paid account as some has already done as you can see here: pay_no_more ).

Since 3 years I'm one day of the Whitsuntide holidays at the "Schloss Neuenburg" (castle Neuenburg) to watch the 'Albrechtsturnier' (a knight tournament). It's a lot of fun to watch the championships because it's not really seriously. The knights also playing the story with gags. -^.^- But the stunts are great.
This year the weather was beautiful and I took my BJD Shirayukihime 白雪姫 (which means 'snow-white') with me.
Hime (her nickname) is my newest doll... she is a 'Kid Dollmore Girl - Sweet Wind Memory Momo'... although I like more the BJD boys I fell in love at the first sight with her sad eyes. I didn't customize her much I only darkened a bit her eyes and lips (and sanded her body).

This one is not from the photo shooting. It will also be used for deviantart.

Some process pictures of how I used to colour the picture of my BJD Soubi. I used for this mostly water colours, (colour) crayons and copics.

I know that I have a strange way to colour my pictures... I was told this often enough. *sweatdrop*
But I’m too impatient to work step by step (first the sketch, then the lineart and at the end the colour)… I’m doing things when I feel like it. That’s possible one of the main points why I seldom finish pictures till the end and why I make so many mistakes. Sorry. -.-
(This was not meant as tutorial... there are better ways to colour with water colours).

With Photoshop I darkened the colors at the end.

I used for this References... my BJD Soubi (Delf El dreaming) and a cross which I got as present (some time ago).

This entry is about the "Anthology" doujinshi project (where I'm a member of) which is published once a year for the bookfair (Germany). The team consist of 4 amateur artists and we'd published until now 2 volumes and we are already working on our stories for the next issue.

Here is my process work from my old stories... how I draw my doujinshis (amateur comics) from sketch to end result. My sketches are always looking so messy before I ink them. ^.^;

Some short words first.
I will use this journal mostly for my artwork (more doodles, sketches and WIPs than finished works… because these can already be found on my different art accounts) and I also will post photos of my Asian Ball Jointed Dolls (BJDs).
Well, I'm also a big fan of slash (Yaoi, BL... or whatever you want to call it) and Shoujo Ai… so it's expectable that some entries will contain these themes. If you don't like this please don't watch this journal. More infos can be found on my profile.
